Explorer classes are the original MapleStory classes that define your adventure. At level 10, you'll choose one of five paths: Warrior, Mage, Bowman, Thief, or Pirate. This decision shapes your entire gameplay experience, from combat style to party role. Choose wisely!

Warrior

Location: Perion • Primary Stat: STR • Role: Tank/DPS

Warriors are the tanks of MapleStory Classic. With the highest HP and defense, they excel at taking hits and dealing consistent melee damage. Perfect for players who want straightforward, reliable gameplay.

Job Advancement Paths

Fighter → Crusader → Hero

  • Weapons: Swords, Axes (1H or 2H)
  • Playstyle: Balanced offense and defense, high damage output
  • Key Skills: Brandish, Rage, Panic, Achilles
  • Best For: Solo grinding and consistent DPS

Page → White Knight → Paladin

  • Weapons: Swords, Blunt Weapons (1H + Shield)

Mage
