Battle Strategy

Phase 1: Arms (First 8 Parts)

  • • Focus on destroying all 8 arms before you can attack the body
  • • Melee classes attack from bottom platforms
  • • Ranged classes can attack from safer upper positions
  • • Keep HP potions ready - arms hit hard and use status effects!
  • • This phase typically takes 10-15 minutes with a good party

Phase 2: Body (Final 3 Parts)

  • • Attack the body parts in recommended order: head → torso → legs
  • • Watch out for dispel attacks - rebuff immediately when it happens
  • • Bishops should prioritize keeping the party alive over dealing damage
  • • Be patient - this phase takes time (15-20 minutes typically)
  • • Don't panic if party members die - Bishops can resurrect

General Combat Tips

  • • Bring plenty of All Cure potions for Darkness and other status effects
  • • Have 200-300 HP/MP potions minimum (more is better!)
  • • Use safety gear or White Scrolls - deaths are common, especially for first-timers
  • • Communication is key - use voice chat or party chat actively
  • • Stay focused for the entire 30-40 minute fight
